Native Plant Garden Consulting & Planning

Together we will transform your outdoor space into a thriving, sustainable haven with native plant expertise. I have over a decade of experience in habitat restoration, native plant landscaping, conservation strategic planning, and environmental stewardship for everything from conservation easements, stream restorations, and utility right-of-way management.

Whether you're starting from scratch or improving an existing landscape, my services are tailored to support native biodiversity, address site-specific challenges, and meet your aesthetic and environmental goals. I combine technical skill with ecological insight to provide a plan that is beneficial to pollinators, wildlife, water quality, and soil health.

About Me

I bring over a decade of experience as an environmental scientist and ecologist to Mulberry Maps, with a special focus on wetland hydrology and wetland science. I am passionate about restoring wetland habitats, leading restoration efforts, and promoting thoughtful land stewardship across the Carolinas. I have been on/am still currently on several environmentally focused boards and committees.

Earlier in my career, I worked with the government of the Federated States of Micronesia, where I contributed as a researcher and environmental scientist. There, my work supported agricultural sustainability efforts shaped by local tribal management practices and the challenges of saltwater inundation. It shaped my early career as one rooted in an intersectional approach to environmental science.

I hold a B.S. in Environmental Science, and I am especially interested in how ecology connects with urban and Indigenous land management practices. My work emphasizes the importance of environmental justice, community voices, policy, and available resources in to guide meaningful and lasting habitat restoration.
